Seven missing after fishing boat sinks in south China

Fishing Boat - PakaBEIJING -- Seven people are missing after a fishing boat carrying nearly a dozen crew members sank in south China on Sunday, state-run media reported.

The state-run Xinhua news agency said the fishing boat sank in the Xijiang River in Guangdong Province on Sunday morning, but provided few other details. A total of 11 crew members were on board.

As of 5.30 p.m. local time, four of the crew members were rescued. The seven others remain missing and are feared to have drowned.
